Unfear is an action-packed 2d runner. You play as a runner confronting manifestations of trauma, using ancient Chinese elemental wheel as psychological defense mechanisms.
But here's the twist: there are no victories without consequences. Every trauma you overcome generates a new debuff based on the Wu Xing (ไบ่ก) creation cycle. The masks we wear to protect ourselves create new fragilities.

Master the Five Elements destruction cycle to defeat enemies:
- ๐ฅ Fire (Anxiety) โ defeats Metal
- ๐ง Water (Terror) โ defeats Fire
- โ๏ธ Metal (Grief) โ defeats Wood
- ๐ Earth (Obsession) โ defeats Water

Switch masks in real-time using WASD to match incoming threats. Wrong mask? You take damage and gain debuffs that stack against you.
